These are the precedent images for my animation. Three environments are all created by paper, where I started thinking the environment might suit for my paper made character. Besides, the transition between my character world and real world is the color, so I might only use white in my character's world.

It is the Chinese Column in front of Tiananmen in Tiananmen Square. It is very famous and typical Chinese carving.

It is a bracelet made of precious stone. Carving of precious stone is very beautiful art in China.

It is pendant of precious stone which has bigger surface for artist to create.

As "the marauder's map" in film Harry Porter, which is not as simple as we are capable of comprehending. Complication in the map seems to only magnify more fascination of reading map itself. I like the way of presenting something interesting like this.

This image of real wires to some extents inspired me in its construction and abstraction. I quite like it because I think it really shows something out of control, which is very noise to me.

I found the color interesting in this image. Especially, the range of color used is quite similar to the rainbow. So I have been attempted to get this arrangement into my processing.

Some inspirations from a movie of Helvetica

Design is not to do the intricacies items. The reason why good design is widespread and enduring use because they were accepted and appreciated by people and social. Have learning how to be a person who good at discovering the glowing out of things around and that is the inspirations come from. The projects to be designed simple, clean and powerful like Helvetica or be made seems simple, clean and boring, this will have to see the source of inspiration whether in the right direction.
